I agree 100%. What I really love is when they ride in packs and don't move when you come up on them, like they are daring you to hit them. Or at a red light they will pass vehicles already stopped. Don't they have to follow traffic laws too?

Well i guess the reason the don't have to pay is because a Bicycle IS NOT AN AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE DUH!!!!!!!!!! First of all im a Cycist myself and secondly if you think that Cyclist the to pay to ride the roads then that goes to show how heartless you really are, i mean get real dude, thats pretty much saying that Kids who up and down their street need to pay, dude just because your in a Car and their on a Bike, doesn't mean you own the road!!! The last time i check this was a free Country, so stop crying!!!

I agree with the post that says it's often as if they won't move over and they just dare you to hit them. I don't know about y'all, but if it comes down to a head-on crash with another vehicle or hitting a bicylist who is in the way, the dude on the bike is in big trouble.

I'm pretty sure cyclists are taxpayers. They shouldn't pass stopped cars at a light, even though I know they do sometimes. Maybe it's cause they can't just step on the gas and take off be sure they'll make it across the intersection.
When they ride in packs it's not easy to stay in a single file line and I can promise they're not daring you to hit them. That's like you standing in the road and daring someone to hit you,no one is that stupid.
I'm not a roadie as we call them but I do ride. I know it can be an annoying to have to deal with them on the road, but they enjoy the exercise and the scenary of being on the road. It's a way to break up a workout routine. When I raced bikes I did the road because it was the only way to get enough of a consistant workout to stay in shape to race. The road is not my style though, I'm an action type rider.
I guess I'm just saying just because they're different doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it. Cut them a little slack. If you took the time to check out their ride you'd see how much they're like us in the effect that they like cool/trick parts.
They spend as much time on tweaking their bike as we do on our racecars.LOL. Some of them are geeks/nerds and some of them are pretty cool.
My rant is over now.
No flaming needed....

Dude, i have been hit by a car before, i don't care who you are, cyclists have just as much right to rthe open road as anybody in a car!!! Just becasue you're in a car, doesn't mean you own the road, because heres the thing i might be on a bike, but i pay taxes, so therefor, i own just as much of the road as you do, so again, just becasue you're ina car and someones on bike doesn't mean own the road!!!

Bucky Bucky Bucky....ummmmm mmmmm First the loud Harleys that there pipes save there life now the guys that are in shape and can ride a high dollar ten speed. What about the tractors that get in the way? What about the idiots that want to ride there horses and leave horse crap on the road? Better yet what about those idiots that want to WALK in the road or what some people call exercise and jog? I mean what are they thinking????? Get a tread mill!!!! Then what about this!!!! When you going uo into the mountains and those 18 wheelers that cant make the climb doing the speed limit!!!!! Then they have to have those run off ramps because those trucks cant manage there brakes!! How much tax payer dollars does that take???? Buckhardt ole buddy I think we need to start a petiton on if you can't drive a mustang stay in the house!!!!!!

Look here is the way it is. Those riders pay there taxes. Hell they probally pay more because they have the money to buy those high dollar bikes. They are riding the bikes because its something the love to do. Not to go to the grocery store or to pick the kids up at daycare or to go to work. Yes they may be some that do but its a small number that really dont matter. Give the guys room and dont get mad because they can go faster on there bike than you can go on your golf cart!!!! They are in shape and they deserve the road!!!!!

Now Buckhardt when can I meet you at walmart to get yours???
