"Super Stock Four Rules" ~Mufflers Are Mandatory~ 1. Body: Stock auto only must meet drawings provided by track on web site or at the track. Inter panel may be removed; must have stock front firewall in stock location and floor pan. Must have rear firewall or driver compartment must be boxed in. Rear of car must be closed (No holes or flaps) and Aluminum doors and fenders okay; must retain stock shape and appearance; aftermarket nose okay. Must run hood; must run rear deck lid. May have 2 ½" hood scoop must be boxed in. No ground effects or skirts NO WEDGE BODIES! 2. Chassis: Must have roll cage and all safety equipment cage must be secured to unibody; may tie chassis together on top of floor pan only. 3. Suspension:Must be stock suspension. No screw jacks. Lowering blocks OK; (springs must be in stock location). May run spring buckets, caster and camber plates OK. May cut A frame for caster & camber, Steel body non adjustable Racing shocks or struts OK; must be in stock location on stock mounts. NO heims. May change pinion angle by cutting rear top control arm only. Bushings may be steel or nylon. Pan hard bar may be cut but must have stock ends. 4. Rear End: Any stock up to 8.8" for make of car may lighten ring gear and carrier only. No gun drilled axels. Axels subject to compare to known stock. May lock by welding. No spools. Housing cannot be modified for gear clearance. 5. Brakes: All 4-wheel stock working brakes for make of car; No drilled rotors or drums lightened on the outside; any pedals. No adjustments in reach of driver. 6. Wheels: Any steel 7". May reinforced. Large wheel studs okay. Bead lock will be allowed on right rear only. 7. Tires: Hoosier 23.0" or 22.5 x 215 RC4 only. 8. Drive shaft: 1 1/2" OD or larger. Any steel. Must be painted white, with car number on it. 9. Transmission: Stock for make, may lighten, must have forward & rear working gears, Must have safety loop. 10. Flywheel: Stock flywheel allowed must weigh 16 lb. (May balance with weld or drill holes only and must be outside of clutch disc ring) Must have stock or stock replacement clutch and pressure plate 7.5 " Min. Studs for pressure plate OK. Cannot relocate bolt hole pattern. Scalloped cut ok 11. Engine Location: Stock. No engine set back! 12. Fuel: Must pass track test. Fuel tank must be mounted inside of trunk. (Turbo Blue 110 Only!) 13. Weight: 1 pound per CC, (2000 lb. Minimum) Car's CC must be posted on hood. Must have correct CC for engine you are running, Formula for cc's Bore x Bore x .7854 x Stroke x 4 = cid. Then divide cid by .061 (Tech man will allow 5cc's for wear only). 14. Engine: NO rotary or turbo or double OHC permitted. (NO Vacuum Pumps). Block: OEM only .080" over max bore. Crank: Stock crank, stock stroke. (Crank may be lightened, but must leave factory casting # or logo for ID). Rods: Any steel. Piston: Any flat top. Toyota 1600 & 1800 may run dome of .267" tall only. Oil Pan: Any wet. Heads: OEM may be changed from one size engine to another. May have competition valve job, any angle, and any depth. Valve guide boss must remain stock. All angles must be concentric with valve guide. Valve: Any steel valve stock diameter may be undercut stem. Valve Springs: Doubles OK. Must be steel. Retainers: Any steel. Cam: Max Lift .425" with .025" lash at valve for solid and 0 lash for hydraulic. Lifter: Stock diameter (Solid OK). Intake: OEM only; may bore straight down for clearance, no radius or Blending. No fuel injection manifolds except for Chevrolet and any other engine, which only came with fuel injection. May modify for carburetor, must be approved before the race. Fuel Pump: Stock or electric. Carburetor: must run Holley 350 CFM (#7448 or 0-80787-1)Must pass track gauges Must have air horn with #, may cut end of Screw, no thinning of shafts; no grinding or polishing. Float bowl must face towards front of car Spacer & Adapter: Any 1" max thick together. NO TOLERENCE! 2 gaskets @ .070" thick max each. Ignition: Stock Mel's Ignition ok NO MSD will be allowed. Exhaust system: Headers OK. Mufflers: Any approved Race Type permitted (Mufflers Are Mandatory) PROTEST: (Three things only) $300 with track retaining $100. Tires: 60 or 70 series across the counter street tire. NO racing recaps of any style. 8. Drive shaft: 1 1/2" OD or larger steel. Must be painted white with car number on it. 9. Transmission: Stock. Must have all working gears. Must have safety loop. 10. Flywheel: Stock must weigh 16 pounds no scalloped flywheel. Must have stock or stock replacement clutch and pressure plate 7.5 "Min. Replacement clutch and pressure plate. (May balance with weld or drill holes only and must be outside of clutch disc ring) Studs for pressure plate ok. Cannot relocate bolt hole pattern. 11. Engine Location: Stock. NO engine set back! 12. Fuel: Must pass track test. Fuel tank must be mounted inside of trunk. (Turbo Blue 110 only!). 13. Valve Springs: Single spring with damper; no doubles must be steel. Retainers: Any steel. Cam: Max Lift .425" with .025" lash at valve for solid and 0 lash for hydraulic, no rollers. Lifter: Stock and diameter. Solid OK. Intake: OEM only; may be bored straight down for clearance, no radius or blending. No fuel injection manifolds except for Chevrolet and any other engine which came only with fuel injection. May modify for carburetor, but must be approved before race. Fuel Pump: Stock or electric. Carburetor: Stock 4 cylinder carburetor for make of car. Must have air horn with #, may cut end of screw, No thinning of shafts, No grinding or polishing. Or Holley 350 CFM (#7448 or 0-80787-1) Must have air horn with #, must pass track gauges. Float bowl must face towards front of car Adapter: Can run 1" max thickness adapter for carburetor with 2 gaskets only @ .070" max thickness each or may run 1 stock gasket with out adapter. Ignition: Stock. Mel's ignition ok. Header: Stock cast iron exhaust manifold only. Muffler: Any approved Race Type permitted (Mufflers are Mandatory) Water Pump No electric pumps allowed Protest: (Three things only) $300.00 with track retaining $100.00 Bottom end only protest: $600.00 with track retaining $100.00 Under hood visual protest: $50.00 straight fee to look for stock carb and exhaust manifold. "Young Guns Rules" ~One (1) lb Per CC~ ~Mufflers Are Mandatory~ 1. YOUNG GUNS MUST BE AGES 10 – 16 2. Stock Autos only, except as stated! Any American or foreign 1970 or later 4-cylinder car allowed except as stated: No trucks, convertibles, or station wagons. 2 wheel drive cars only. No turbo or fuel injection cars. No multi-carburetor engines. No rotary, mid, rear engine, or Cosworth engine cars. No engine with more than two (2) valves per cylinder. Stock dist. No msd boxes. 3. Engine must be stock. Max .080 overbore .No to exceed 2500 cc. Car must weigh 1lb per cc. 2000 lb mim All engines must be stock or as stated: Aluminum cam gear or pulley allowed. Solid lift cam .425 max. Lift with .025 valve lash, hydraulic cams 425 with .000 lash at valve. Toyota Stock carburetor and intake for make of engine size from factory.On fords must run webber. On Chevy must run Rochester. May run Holley 350 cfm #7448 or 0-80787-1 carb. must be box stock, must have air horn with numbers.Stock 4 may run Adapter 1" max thickness with 2 gaskets .070" thickness each or run 1 stock gasket without adapter. Stock cast iron exhaust manifold. Any approved race type muffler permitted. No factory header. Clutch, pressure plate must be stock may cut fly wheel 16lb min. Any stock production head. No porting or polishing. Competition (3) angle valve job permitted , must not go below guide boss. No hand blending under valve. Stock diameter valves and size springs.Max. size 1.49 . Valve spring dampener ok .Any steel rods. Toyota 1600 &1800 piston dome .235 in. max. with 20r or 22r head can dome max. .125 in. Any wet sump oil pan. 4. Brakes must be stock. No drill rotor or drums. 5. Suspension: Caster and camber plate OK, may cut lower A Frame for caster camber adjustment. Adjustable cups or plates under spring on front Ok, lower blocks or adjustable cups ok on rear. Can tie frame together on top of floor pan only. Shock may be moved for travel only. 6. No altering of car, this means any part of car, front bumper or rear bumper unless it is stated in these rules. All hood and trunk hinges can be removed. May run home made body can be all aluminum. Hoods may be aluminum but must be closed at rear. Square tube from front bumper to shock tower only. (a) After market front and rear bumper covers may be used. (b) All headlights and taillights must be removed with all holes covered. (c) Battery can be relocated but must be mounted in an enclosed box that has been securely mounted to the floor pan of car with two straps 1/8” thick and 1-1/2” wide that are across the top of the box and also secured to the floor pan with ½” bolts. (d) Fuel cell required. Must meet rules for fuel cell. Cutting of hole in trunk is OK. (e) Dash may be removed. Must have fabricated dash. Interior spoiler can be no higher than dash. (f) Cutting of interior body panels OK. Should not be excessive. (g) May run a 2 ½ in. hood scoop, must be boxed in. (h) Hoop bar OK around radiator. (i) Hood and deck lid can be gutted. (j) Driveshaft no less than 1 ½ dia. Painted white. (k) May run 6 “x 60” rear spoiler, must be self supporting, can not go over side of quarter panels, no spill plates. (L) Aftermarket bushings in A-frames, and trailing arms ok. 7. Wheels: Any 7” steel wheel or factory steel wheels.. Bead lock on right rear ok . Any offsets and wheel spacers ok. 8. Tires: 60 or 70 series steel belted radials only. No racing retreads. 9. Transmission must have all working gears, no lighting of rear end gear and No Full spools. 10. Boxing of interior will be permitted. 11. All cars must meet safety and roll cage requirements that are outlined in this rule book. 12. NOTE: Anything not covered or mentioned in the previous rules has to be ruled on when brought up. Track official’s decision will be final. The above rules may be amended at any time. If you have any question about a rule or rules, you should ask the technical inspector. Do not just do what you think is right. 13. PROTEST (3 things only) $300 with track retaining $100. B. Must have 3 bars in left door and 2 bars in right door. C. Loop around engine compartment permitted. D. Two bars may run from the top of the main roll cage loop to the rear frame rails. WHEELBASE A. Stock for make and model. SUSPENSION A. Must be stock for make and model. B. Jack bolts permitted. C. Racing shocks permitted. D. Racing springs permitted. E. Lowering blocks permitted. F. 1 ½” minimum drive shaft diameter. Steel only. STEERING A. Stock for make and model. BRAKES A. 3 wheel brake system permitted. WHEELS / TIRES A. 8 inch wheel max. Bead locks permitted. B. Any DOT street tire permitted (No recaps or mud grips). REAR END A. May be locked. B. No lightening of rear end in ANY way. BODY A. Outside appearance must be stock. B. All glass and flammable material must be removed. C. Headlights, tail lights and wheel covers must be removed. D. Doors may be hulled for door bars only. E. Doors must be strapped, welded or bolted. F. Front wheel wells may be removed. G. Area between driver and gas tank must be totally covered with sheet metal. H. Rubber nose permitted. No slope nose will be permitted. I. Skirts permitted. J. Deck height on spoiler six inch maximum. K. Stock appearing aluminum sides and top permitted. Must be stock appearing. BUMPER A. Stock for make and model. B. Must be securely attached. C. Must not have exposed sharp edges. D. Must be track approved. FLYWHEEL / CLUTCH A. Flywheel must be stock for make and model. B. Pressure plate and clutch disc must be stock for make and model. C. No scalloped flywheel permitted FUEL A. Pump Gas or Racing Fuel only. RADIATORS A. Aluminum is permitted. STARTERS A. All cars must start under its own power. TRANSMISSION A. Stock 3, 4, or 5 speed are permitted. B. Automatic transmissions are permitted. C. No modifications. SAFTEY REQUIREMENTS A. Approved helmets and fire suits. B. Properly mounted 3" quick release lap belt with 2" shoulder harness in good condition. C. Properly mounted fire extinguisher within drivers reach. D. Securely mounted fuel tank in trunk. E. Must have securely mounted bucket type or racing seat. ENGINE A. Must be stock. B. Must be in original location. C. Must have original rods. D. No rotary engines. E. Any oil pan permitted. F. No turbochargers. G. .080 overbore permitted. H. Crank and heads must be stock no polishing. 3 angle valve job permitted. No cutting below the seat in the head. I. Flat top piston, on Ford & Chevy. HEAD A. Must be stock for make and model. B. Stock, one piece stock replacement valve permitted. Double valve springs permitted. C. Any Hyd. cam will be permitted. D. No solid lift cams permitted E. Cam gear permitted. F. Stock cast iron manifold or header permitted. G. Any approved Race Type Muffler permitted (Mufflers are Mandatory) H. Shims under lifter permitted. INTAKE MANIFOLD A. Fuel injected intake permitted. No sidewinder intake permitted. CARBURETOR A. 1 inch spacer or adapter permitted. B. 500 carb. Permitted part number 4412, no polishing and porting. No after market carb. Motorcraft or Holly permitted. IGNITION A. Factory single point or HEI only. B. Racing coil permitted. C. No ignition boosters. "FWD-Bomber Rules" ~Mufflers Are Mandatory~ 1. Any 4 Cylinder or 6 Cylinder front wheel drive only. 2. NO 4 wheel drives NO all wheel drives. 3. If it’s STOCK and within these rules you can run it. 4. Tires must be stock. 5. Must have sound roll bar overhead. 6. This class is for stock cars only. Any modifications will be deemed illegal. 7. This class is for fun and experience. Let's keep it that way. 8. Any approved race type Muffler is "OK". (Mufflers are Mandatory) Protest Fee: A.Protest any three (3) items except bottom end $300 B.Bottom end $600 C.Acceptance fee $100 D.Track retains $100 E.Tech Man's ruling is final!! Any Driver will be permitted to compete in as many division's as he or she likes as long as the entry fee is paid for each division he or she competes in.
No Cars will be allowed to be entered in more than one (1) division. Driver must pay Pit Pass......Entry fee does not cover Pit Pass. Last edited by Paper Men; 10-14-2009 at 11:06 PM. |
