Default Ga. State Renegade 4 cyl.

Rules for 2009 Ga. State Outlaw Renegade 4 cyl.

------------------------------------------------

Body :
1.Any 4 cyl.car Front or Rear Wheel Drive.
2.No All Wheel or 4x4 Wheels allowed.
3. No rear steer cars allowed

Chassis :
1.stock factory front to rear
2.no re-inforcing or push bars,no bars past dash of car
3.no racing springs
4.factory suspension set up.
5. NO ADJUSTMENT ALLOWED -NO BENDING SPRING BUCKETS,FRONT END ETC.
NO DRILLING BRAKE CALIBERS
ABSOLUTELY NO MODIFICATIONS
6.Special Note:
1.a 2x2 channel or flat plat steel can be welded
@bottom and top to each side of frame to hold radiator only.
2.1 ft. length of 4x4 channel or 4x4 solid plate(total 1ft. lenght)
can be welded to frame horns up front with a min. 6 " flat plate
welded onto to hold bumper or aftermarket noisepiece.
3.no tubular piping of any kind upfront.

Engine:

1.stock production for car. must appear stock externally
from the factory.No internal tech is required.
2.air conditioning or altenators can be removed.
3.No cold air intakes
4.no turbos allowed.
5.Gm or Ford production cars must run genuine products
meaning 2300 fords must run stock motorcraft carb
no header---unless it's factory production for make of
car.
6. mufflers are not required

Roll Cage:

1.4 point min-6 point ok to extend past fuel tank
2.max. 3 driver door bars
3.min. 2 passenger door bars
4.no bars past firewall
5.min thickness 0.90 (no exhuast or fence post tubing)
6.NO MIRRORS/NO RACING RADIOS
Tires:

1.Dot common street tires only/can be mixed or matched for stagger
2.No snow tires/racing recaps or racing tires allowed(no hoosiers
or American racers of any kind.

Wheels :

1.Factory production for that make of car only
2.No spoke wheels or taller in height, etc allowed !

so you can do anything to the motor as long as it looks stock from the outside???
A 4-cylinder mustang can really be built and still look stock from the outside!!!!

i thought the stock carb rule(motocraft)CARB ONLY
WOULD EQUAL UP--------

IT'S EARLY ENOUGH-------I WILL DO TO 2300' LIKE WE DO OUR
MINI STOCKS

PULL LIFTER TO CHECK FOR HYD. CAM.

Default stock carb

yea the stock carb on the 2.3 is a dog, build that mustang if you want but with a stock carb you don't have a chance.

Noticed you edited the rules. Rule number 3 under body is new.

Which chicken sh!t complained about my car? Tried to sneak that by without drawing any attention to it huh? It comes factory. Maybe I will complain about cars that have a better power to weight ratio.


Guess the joke is on the complainer because Im using the volkswagen for this race.

Is that going to be a rule next year or is someone just scared of getting beat in the money race?

I guess I didn't look close enough, but I thought that was always the rule. Maybe I saw it in some other track's rules.

The way I run, my car must have rear steer, too - and somebody else is driving it!
