the "biggest" concern WM has is "lack of business" compared to "old store".
They ARE NOT CONCERNED with Fred and LCS.........period!

why would wal mart be worried about it anyhow i have heard people say that its a heck of a sound in the buildin on a saturday night lol but what 5 or 6 hours to wal mart...i really dont see them wastin time and money on tryin to shut laurens down

for a race fan it does not bother but for a non fan it would. and if in wal marts eyes they think that it hurts there bottom line they would try to do something about it and what one do you think the city or county council will side with i would bet on the one that brings in more taxes

I have worked for Wal-Mart going on 15 years now. At NO time has anyone said anything about buying the LCS. I have asked about it on several occasions. Everyone there knows what the track means to the people in and around Laurens. I mean the new store has been open since March 18th, noise wasn't a problem this whole past season, nor was dust. I don't see WM buying a big hole in the ground, and I'm sure Sat. night races bring extra business!!!

I am sure the Wal-Mart executives will be contacting you and your co-workers for your opinion and your approval before they make any business decision.

if you read the first few pages of this thread you would see that people post, I heard this, I heard that, I will post something as soon as I talk to someone. All talk no substance. You are not going to get any information about the track on this forum. So we talk about whatever.
